The GP contract for 2015-2016 now requires practices to allocate a named, accountable GP for all patients (including children) who will take lead responsibility for the co-ordintation of all appropriate services required under the contract. When patients see a GP or Nurse they will be advised of their accountable GP. This does not prevent you from seeing any other GP in the practice as you will still be able to make an appointment with any of our Doctors.
